Upasana Kaku
Senior Project Developer
Upasana is part of the project development team at Working Power where she supports a range of solar and microgrid projects with community partners in the Mid-Atlantic, Northeast, and Midwest.
Previously, she spent five years at Urban Ingenuity working on clean energy projects like single building retrofits to community solar to district energy systems. She also helped administer the DC PACE program for several years, developing many of the key program tools and processes of the program and closing more than $40 million in financing over three years.
Upasana graduated with a Master of Architecture and Master of Community Planning from the University of Maryland.
