Nora Barger

At Working Power, Nora manages solar and microgrid development projects, and consultancy work in both the private and public sector. Before joining Working Power, Nora managed multiple municipal energy efficiency and stormwater management programs in the Southeast, Mid-Atlantic, and US Virgin Islands. Most notably, she led the green roof and rain barrel incentive programs for Washington, D.C., which provided financial incentives for implementing green infrastructure measures and incorporated education, installation, and workforce training for at-risk youth. 

Nora holds a Bachelor’s degree in American History from the University of the South (Sewanee) and Master’s degree in Urban and Environmental Planning from the University of Virginia. She recently completed Yale’s Financing and Deploying Clean Energy professional certificate program.
