Abigail Despres
Microgrid Project Manager
Abigail is a Microgrid Project Manager specializing in microgrid development, community engagement, and environmental justice at Working Power. She’s passionate about creating a more equitable world through implementing technologies and systems that challenge climate threats against marginalized communities.
Prior to joining Working Power, Abigail:
- served as project manager of microgrids at CESI
- held multiple internship positions within the clean energy and equitable transition space
- interned with Representative Golden and completed work on energy policy and women’s rights policy on Capitol Hill
Abigail has a Bachelor's in Political Science from the University of Maine, where she minored in French and International Studies. She also holds a Master's in Business Administration and a Master in Public Policy from Brandeis University, where she concentrated on environmental justice.
