We are excited to share that SPGP1, LLC, our project partner, has completed the first phase of mechanical construction on a 319kw solar array in Brown County, Texas. This is a demonstration project, designed for learning and proof of concept rather than wide-scale use, but intended for eventual scaling with income from energy sales directed toward other clean energy initiatives in the state. This project is especially notable for its use of union-built, American-made products including the steel racking, groundscrews, and a majority of the panels.

Our role in this project was primarily technical assistance consulting, providing development support in our specialized areas like tax equity investment without entering into co-ownership as we have on many other projects. We look forward to seeing more progress on this project and will continue to support this effort where we can.
